Last year, for our anniversary, we biked over to
Handi Cuisine of India. We had such a good time that we vowed to return. It took us over a year, but finally made it back again. When a restaurant is a twelve-minute bike ride away and has ample bike parking in front, it's a very attractive option for dinner.
The interior is quite attractive, and the seating is very comfortable.
We didn't have large appetites, so we skipped appetizers, and we ordered only two main courses, along with rice, naan, and some chutney.
The eggplant bhartha (photo at the top) was one dish we knew we would definitely order again, and it was as good as we remembered. The prawn gao curry was delicious as well.

We suddenly had a pea craving, so the pea pulao was a natural choice.

The naan was excellent, hot, crisp and softly chewy.

We very much enjoyed ourselves, and we anticipate returning again, but maybe next time, we won't wait a year.
