À L'Étoile d'Or

>> Thursday, October 21, 2010

I met possibly the friendliest shopkeeper in Paris, if not the world. She is the proprietor of arguably the best candy shop in Paris, located in the 9me arrondissement near the Moulin Rouge. If you have ever in your life craved anything sweet, make the effort to find this place. You will not regret it.

While the extensive selection of chocolates and candy is sufficient enticement, it's the knowledgeable assistance, the quality of the goods and the convivial atmosphere that makes this monument to all-things-sweet someplace truly special.
the most friendly candy shopkeeper
In retrospect, I should have sprung for one of these €10.50 chocolate bars
