The long wait is over. Originally scheduled to open in August, we finally were able to step into Kerrisdale's newest addition to the culinary landscape. Business was steady on opening day as we sat enjoying our hot chocolate and cappuccino.
We tried to restrain ourselves; we ordered only three items,
a raisin bun,
a brioche,
and a chocolate twist.
They had two different kinds of baguettes available, the traditional and the "campagne" which has rye flour.
The pre-made sandwiches looked appealing
as did the eclairs.
In fact, all the baked goods and desserts were beautiful.
It's wonderful to have a French pâtisserie/boulangerie/bistro in the neighbourhood, and we are eager to return to try many more treats.

I am excited! I heard they are even better than Adonia and Secret Garden!
We returned for lunch: Faubourg Bistro.
