Beyond Bread Artisan Bakery

>> Tuesday, May 17, 2011

Once upon a time, there was a little bread bakery named Transilvania Peasant Bread. Using a wood-fired oven, the baker would create amazing rustic breads, highly valued by his loyal customers. Then one day, Transilvania Peasant Bread closed, and there was great turmoil in the land. When the baker opened a new bakery, Beyond Bread Artisan Bakery, the people rejoiced, and peace was restored.

Into this story came our intrepid forager, trusty camera in hand, climbing hills and vanquishing monsters, until the bakery's welcoming door was reached.

Lo and behold, our forager, found the name of the bakery to be truthful, acquiring tart and a muffin, along with the sought-after loaf of bread.

Many weary miles later, our adventurer returned home, rewards in hand, glad of the plenitude of Beyond Bread Artisan Bakery.

Best bread in the city (or the suburbs). I drive from Burnaby for this delicious bread.

Alas, permanently closed as of New Year's 2012. Maybe the rent is too high in the building. Very high turnover there.
