We enjoyed a wonderful version of the cocktail at L'Abattoir a few weeks ago.
- 1 1/2 oz gin
- 1 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons berry sugar (aka caster sugar or superfine sugar)
- 4 oz sparkling wine
- lemon twist for garnish
We have to admit that we used Cava for this drink instead of Champagne. Not a huge stretch of course since it's made the same way. Maybe we should call it a Spanish 75 instead?
