- one 12 oz bag of Enjoy Life or other chocolate chips
- 3/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 3 or 4 (or 12) candy canes (only go for the dozen if you want extras, lots and lots of extras)
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Stir in peppermint extract. Using a rubber spatula, spread onto a baking sheet covered with wax paper.
Sprinkle the broken candy cane pieces over the chocolate.
Freeze until hardened, break into pieces, and "Step into Christmas!"
